What a thrill and an honor it was to get to record with my friend, my hero and mentor, Dwayne Friend. Dwayne is known everywhere as Mister Gospel Guitar. He is a three time Dove Award winner. As a matter of fact, Dwayne won the very first Dove Award ever given in 1969 for Instrumentalist Of The Year. What a great guitar player he is. What an inspiration he has been to me. Dwayne is one of the most likeable persons you could ever hope to meet; and one of the most effective Evangelists I have ever been around. When we went into the studio to record, all of the other musicians were in awe of Dwayne's presence. He quickly put everyone at ease and when we started recording, it seemed like he just brought everyone up a notch or two. This is one of my most satisfying endeavors. I am very happy with the way everything turned out.
