THINKIN' OF CHET
This is my latest recording effort. It is my tribute to the great Chet Atkins. He is known the world over as Mr. Guitar, and he has always been my hero. It was a great loss when Chet departed this life in 2001. He was the greatest. There'll never be another quite like him. It is a humbling experience to try to pay tribute to the greatest guitar player that ever lived; but Chet's influence was felt around the world. I will always have images in my mind of his gentle spirit and his unmistakable style of guitar playing. Some of the tunes on this album are tunes that Chet recorded and some are originals of mine that I hope can be considered in his style.
